Our Vision Is Love And Unity In Twin Vision Theatre we believe that everybody can be great because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your “subject” and “verb” correspond before you can serve. You don’t have to be white, black, red, yellow or green in body complexion before you can serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. Where love rules, there is no will to power and where power predominates, there love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other. When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace. TWIN VISION THEATRE is the product of consequential recognition and awareness that Love alone is capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfill them, for it alone takes them and joins them by what is deepest in themselves, hence we realized that you can only come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly. It is wrong to think that love comes from long companionship and persevering courtship. Love is the offspring of spiritual and natural inward affinity and unless that affinity is created in a moment, it will not be created for years or even generations. There is only one word which frees us of all the weight and pains of our lives: that word is LOVE. It is the exchange of two illusions. The moment you have in your heart this extraordinary thing called love and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstasy of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed. And because love is rooted deeply into the depth of various hearts of Twin Vision members, we had resolved to treat people as if they were what they ought to be, in order to help them to become what they are capable of being. One of the happiest moments my heart knows are those in which it was pouring forth its affections to the esteemed characters and personalities present on that fateful day Twin Vision was created when I vividly saw people of “diverse” colours robbing mind together and sharing in one accord. Right there and then it dawned on me that friendship is always a sweet responsibility, and never an opportunity. Long time ago I realized that underneath every human skin lies a white skin, irrespective of if the person is black or white outwardly, which implies that there are no different colours; everyone is the same. Why do we segregate? A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle. Out of inspiration I was stimulated to name the group TWIN VISION “because though we are many, as identical twins, we are the same in all ramification and together we could visualize through one eyeball the art of nature and the unification of humanity”. We have a vision not clouded by fear and we know that the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Life is a stage and we're constantly changing the scenery. We truly adhere to the saying which says “Despise not any man, and do not spurn anything; for there is no man who has not his hour, nor is there anything that has not its place”. Memory is not an instrument for exploring the past but it is theatre. It is the medium of past experiences, as the ground is the medium in which dead cities lie interred. Ladies and Gentlemen, I think we need a type of theatre which not only releases the feelings, insights and impulses possible within the particular historical field of human relations in which the action takes place, but employs and encourages those thoughts and feelings which help transform the field itself. I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being. When we are motivated by GOALS that have deep meaning, by VISION that need completion, by pure LOVE that needs expressing, then we truly live life. Nothing is as real as a VISION. The world can change around us, but our VISION will not change. Responsibilities need not erase it. Duties need not obscure it. Because the VISION is within us, and no one can take it away! Twin Vision – a step over the borders It is no more news that our attitude towards one another, how we react to each other in our daily life is somewhat influenced by our differences in our existence, be it colour or race. Even in our daily situations, our approaches to our numerous activities sometimes gives us the wrong solutions on how to attend and resolve these daily issues or situations. Knowing this, a group of visionaries tends to expose some of these devastating situations with not just finding answers but also with the notion and view of creating initiatives and using the magnificent power of love, respect and understanding through co-existence and dealing with these radical problems that are pronounced associated with our differences, be it in colour, race or difficulties of everyday life; hence the group, under the umbrella of “twin vision theatre” stresses the need for each and everyone of us to take a step over the borders of our differences and move on with the spirit of equality and love which it represents to achieve maximum results. “Twin vision through theatre” expresses the need for everyone to take a bold step in listening to each other’s feelings and problems, researching further into the behavioural aspect of the different people and getting much information before judgement, as these could be the right steps over the borders of misconception, misunderstanding of one another, different people in order to entertain peace, love and tranquillity for all human being of this world. It is not just about theatre only, it is about mankind and effecting a change in the lives and minds of the people through theatre, it is about learning, finding and defining oneself and it also exhibits the spirit of self-confidence and creativity among all humans and all potential youngsters. It displays talents at its artistry among the different ethnicities of the world irrespective of colour differences and these makes “twin vision theatre group” a dynamic group of visionaries. Lastly, since no one is an island of itself, twin vision theatre tends to unite the world through its unique performances on stage being portrayed by the characters made up of different people from different countries belonging to this great group. Its uniqueness is seen in the manner of presentation which reflects not only the faces of the characters but also, in that of the audience watching and listening. It is an environment filled with love, respect, and mutual understanding for everyone with a unique heart and mind of openness, and if you by any chance get curious to know, then believe me, it can never be bought, except that it can only be achieved through proper practice……..
